The Trail is concerned about the extended closure of the Residential Treatment Clinic for Operational Stress Injuries (RTCOSI) located at the Sainte Anne-de-Bellevue hospital. Our Chairman of the Board, Daniel O’Connor, shares this in his January 13, 2022 letter to the Minister of Veterans Affairs, the Honorable Laurence MacAuley.
” We submit for your consideration, our request to carry out the rapid and safe reopening of the Residential Treatment Clinic for Operational Stress Injuries (RTCOSI) located at the Sainte Anne-de-Bellevue hospital. We consider that this place of treatment, unique in Canada, is exceptional, that it has competent, experienced staff who are aware of the particularities of this specific clientele (veterans) who have served our country with selflessness and distinction. “
