Our Team

Our team of dedicated employees and volunteers make the well-being of veterans the centre of their action within our organization. Made up of experienced people, with varied profiles, from diverse fields, our family is made up of civilians and veterans. They are all driven by the desire to provide the services offered to veterans.

Executive director

Chloé Deraiche has been General Manager of Le Sentier since September 2023. She has over 20 years experience in management, covering various fields such as recruitment, multidisciplinary team management, property management, fundraising, strategic planning and more. She works closely with community and government partners to deliver quality services to vulnerable populations.

Project coordinator

Bruno Plourde has been an active member of the team since the organization was founded.. A veteran with over 40 years of service in the Canadian Armed Forces (CAF), he has participated in several deployments including Afghanistan. His experience in the CAF, in command positions, provides him with an excellent basis for developing the unique approach that will be offered to veterans by The Trail.

Director – Programs and veterans services

Chantal Soucy is our Director – Programs and Services to Veterans. Certified in equine assisted therapy she is the provincial coordinator for EAGALA (Equine Assisted Growth and Learning association). Chantal is a member and recognized by Ritma (Group of stakeholders and therapists in alternative medicine) as a naturopath / zoo therapist and works in partnership with recognized and accredited psychologists, social workers and psychotherapists. She is an internship representative for different educational institutions. In addition, Chantal is the founder of the EQUI-SENS therapeutic equestrian centre, one of our organization’s major partners.

Director – Administration

Linda Bouchard has held the position of Director of Administration since the founding of the organization. With solid experience in administration and with a background in property management, Linda offers us rigorous management of our resources, allowing us to maximize our contribution to the well-being of veterans.

Corporate Affairs

Richard Gratton develops our corporate affairs  since January 2021. With over 25 years of sales and marketing experience at multinational corporations, he served in the Canadian Armed Forces (CAF) for 28 years. A veteran, he joined the team after a decade of service with the regular component of the CAF, thus deploying to Afghanistan. Involved in the veterans and civilian community of the West Island of Montreal, he is, in addition to his operational responsibilities, our project manager for the Transition Center.
